Kiddie Records Weekly: Classics from the Golden Age
Here’s another old bookmark from the archives: Kiddie Records Weekly began as a one-year project devoted to preserving and presenting online the golden age of children’s recordings. Each week they presented a recording, listenable as an audio stream or MP3 files (downloaded as individual “album sides” or as a .zip archive).
Each recording has a scan of the original sleeve art and notes including date of recording and a brief description. This is a fantastic archive devoted to the lost art of children’s recordings. Kiddie Records Weekly actually ran past it’s original one-year date, last updated November 2007.
